Cheesewhizzes West Coast, yo

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

This weekend we also had a Cheesewhizzes event.
The theme was West Coast Wines and Cheeses.
The location, Flora Springs.

If you were there, I think you’d agree with me, “It was a lovely event.”

The cheeses were amazing.
The wines, rad.
Friends, cheese enthusiasts and one of the evening’s favorites, Little Boy Blue.

So, this one time, Ms. Maggie Mason posted a few gorgeous photos on her web site about coming to one of our Cheesewhizzes parties.
(Have you met this girl? An inspirational dynamo, yes, but that doesn’t quite encompass her influence.)

That posting led to an article in this month’s Food & Wine magazine.
That article led to the launching of the web site.
That web site has led to the start of several Cheesewhizzes groups across the country.

Can you believe it?
I’m part of the duo that throws Napa’s best parties.
I’m a published Food & Wine recipe author.
Holy moly.

Now, of course, if you’re interested in the article, you should go pick yourself up a copy.
The December issue of Food & Wine is the biggie,
the most exciting,
the one with all the appetizer recipes you’ll tear out.

It’s the issue that makes you throw a cocktail party.

Thanks for coming along on this fun journey, we’re having a blast.

As my mom reminded me the other day, I have been in a high production mode lately.
I have produced and produced and produced these past few months.
Many of these projects are finally bubbling up to the top.

I am thrilled to share!

One of these productions is a new and improved Cheesewhizzes web site.

Natalie and I have worked our magic to bring you the best in cheese club news.
Even better, we’ve put in the ability for you to start your own Cheesewhizzes club, in your own city, if you so like.
We’ll be sharing all kinds of that information in the next few weeks.

I’ve noticed that every time things get interesting up in my life, helenjane.com goes quiet.
Here’s to some action, eh?
